Community Invited to Help Shape Future Housing in Decorah and Winneshiek County
Winneshiek County Development and Tourism (WCDT), in partnership with Decorah Jobs and the City of Decorah, has secured state funding for the initial planning and design of a new cluster housing project in Decorah.
The project is creating plans for a 3.5-acre, residentially zoned site located in Decorah. As planning begins, project partners are seeking community input to ensure future housing reflects local needs.
Residents who live or work in Decorah and the surrounding area are encouraged to complete a brief, anonymous housing survey. The three-minute survey will help guide housing decisions and priorities as the project moves forward.
The survey is now open and available at decorah-housing.com or on the WCDT website. Community members are encouraged to share the survey with others.
