Winneshiek County Development and Tourism has had the pleasure to serve Winneshiek County in Northeast Iowa for over 20 years. Since our creation in 1992, WCDT formerly (Winneshiek County Development, Inc.) has been involved with several new business developments, business expansions and small start-ups, bringing jobs to the Northeast Iowa Region. Another focus for WCDT is to help write and administer projects on behalf of Winneshiek County. In recent years, WCDT has brought in capital for a number of community development projects. From water/sewer, new roads, trails, downtown facades, city parks and more. These dollars could not have been netted without a county entity such as Winneshiek County Development and Tourism.
